Club Annual Dinner

Over 230 players, officials and supporters attended the Club Annual Dinner on

Friday evening 7^th May 2010.

The main guest was Brian Moore the former British Lions, England & Harlequins international hooker who entertained everyone with various stories and anecdotes of rugby union played at both international and club level.

Other guests included Roger Foxon President Leicestershire Rugby Union, Malcolm Ross Leicestershire RFU Council representative and Mike Reynolds and Nick Lacey President and Chairman, respectively of the Leicestershire Society of Rugby Union Referees.

The awards and presentations were received by the following:

Colts Player of the Year                                  James Gough

The club have experienced an extremely successful season in which the 1^st XV narrowly lost in the play offs for promotion to Midlands One against Spalding. They also reached the qtr finals of the Intermediate National Cup again narrowly losing to Worcester Wanderers.

The 2^nd Xv also won the Stewarts & Lloyds Spring Cup and were promoted from Leicestershire Division Three. .

The Mini and Junior section won various tournaments at all age levels with several age groups reaching their respective Count Cup Finals.
